You will find our craft brewery on the south side of the Market Place, just across the castle, in the Old City Hall of the city of Darmstadt. The Old City Hall (das Rathaus) was built in 1598 after the plans by Jakob Wustmann. Since 1989 the Old City Hall accommodates on the ground floor, the cellar and the 1st upper floor the only Craft Brewery of Darmstadt.
We serve you excellently crafted and traditionally – of course after the purity requirement – brewed beer and typical German dishes.
Our beer-garden with a stunning view at the castle invites you to a pleasant stay during the summertime
Enjoy the view and enjoy your stay! In other respects, our house meets all of your wishes. Pay a visit to our Braustube with the big bar area on the ground floor. Come to our restaurant Regenten-Stube on the 1st upper floor or our romantic brewing cellar (smoking area) located in the historical vault cellar.
